Here are the results for the ward relevant to the SLRA area:
Bockhanger ward
The councillor for Bockhanger has hitherto been Luke Powell (Con), who triggered this by-election by resigning. The by-election was held on 8 June 2017.
The new councillor elected is Simon Howard-Smith (Con), who won with a majority of 282. He secured 52.7% of the votes. The turnout was 64.07%.
In 2011, Luke Powell won Bockhanger for the Conservatives with a majority of 386 and 66.5% of the votes; turnout was 62.15%.
In 2011, Michael Claughton won Bockhanger for the Conservatives with a majority of 199 and 50.7% of the votes; turnout was 44.3%.
In 2007, Michael Claughton won Bockhanger for the Conservatives with a majority of 245 and 62.1% of the votes; turnout was 35.4%.
In 2003, Noel Greaves won Bockhanger for the Conservatives with a majority of 115 and 59.8% of the votes; turnout was 32.2%.
